This activity booklet explores the aviation accomplishments and stories of 12 women. Each chapter provides hands-on activities related to an aircraft associated with each aviator. Additional activities and discussion guides allow learners to connect these stories to their own lives by exploring gender barriers that still exist today. Women in Aviation II is a hands-on activity book highlighting the stories of 13 diverse women. The book provides an introduction to and the historical accounts of the contributions these women have made to the aviation and aerospace fields.
